Good morning, this week seems to be flying by way too fast for some reason.
We are still enjoying spring type weather for the most part. Am also still enjoying the Olympic games while stitching up the next sashiko dragonfly pillow. Before Larry's accident I had purchased these two pieces and then also searched for threads back then.
This is what I have so far-and am finally ok with the dragonfly
I used a brown thread for the head and long body and a grey for the wings. I will see if I can get a better photo when the light is better. (photo will enlarge for a better view)
This week I have been enjoying watching the sun come up over the lake-the sky is colorful this week and to watch it rise into the sky has been an awesome start to my day
Good morning Thursday
Spring is on the way! -Christine cmlk79.blogspot.com

DeleteWarmer weather is making us all think spring, but surely we will get another round or two of winter. I even walked through my garden this morning thinking of what I will plant and where. I love your dragonflies!!
ReplyDeleteI think the worse of winter over now here in the ozarks area-getting colder temps at night but the days are not too bad at all-March can always be a surprise though. thank you I am stitching while watching the Olympics
DeleteA wonderful adaptation of a dragonfly. I have noticed this week the days are getting longer but still cold here. Janice

DeleteYour dragonfly looks great. It's great to have something to do that lets you also watch TV/sports, isn't it? I hope your lovely weather continues. hugs-Erika

DeleteI think Spring may have sprung here in TX too... and if we get any of the expected rain tonight the weeds are gonna grow! Your dragonfly looks great!! Isn't it nice when you make a decision and just go with it?! I'm getting so much advice on where to take my skateboard... so many directions i could take it... but ultimately i have to follow my heart... right or wrong... its got to be my success or my failure... if you know what i mean.. GrandLittle has kept me busy so i haven't caught much of the games just the headlines i've read.. Hugs! deb
