The Leaves are Falling

I was watching a new Hallmark series (that I had recorded) yesterday afternoon and Wow looking out the window- it was raining leaves.

I grabbed the camera and was able to capture a couple photos.  In the background on the second photo it shows the leaves had finally turned to their fall colors here on Lake.in the Ozarks

I am someone that does Not like wind-and the winds started howling last night early and continues into this morning along with the huge temperature drop. Thinking well it is autumn and it is November-we have been very spoiled. The first freeze may come in tonight.

I haven't done much in my craft room lately-actually most of the summer-so I think I will do that today.   I started a bean soup yesterday and transferred it to the slow cooker this morning. I may bake up a small skillet of cornbread to go with it. sounds good for a blustery fall day

  Enjoy your day!

  1. Soo nice to see your blog at the top of my Blog Roll this morning Kathy! We hit almost 90F yesterday and today the high is 65F.... going to be soo nice.. tonight is the expected 'freeze' It keeps flirting around with 31/32F for the forecast and strong winds from the North 20-30mph.. I look outside and its Sunny and i don't see or hear the wind yet... Beef Stew in the Crockpot is the order of the day today.. Take care Kathy and do spend time in your craftroom today :) Love to think of you in there.. Hugs! deb

  2. I really hate the wind and that is all we have here year round. The photos of the leaves are amazing shots. If you are going to the art room consider my self portrait challenge on FFO. The instructions are at the bottom of this page. No pressure, it's a fun thing, https://beadwright.blogspot.com/2025/11/friday-face-off-11725.html I made bean soup and corn bread the other day. It's the perfect comfort food. Have a great day today.
