Just out of the oven-one of our favorites a homemade lemon meringue pie. I forgot how much work these are, but so worth the effort. I am not supposed to eat any acid-citrus etc, but I will have to cut me a small slice-smiles. The crust I made with gluten free graham crackers and raw organic walnuts-buzzed up in the blender.
I made this so we would have something special for Easter. Still not sure what I will be making-but something simple.

Your pie looks so yummy. Low key for us this Easter. Ham, sweet potatoes and green bean casserole. Just Bob and I. Janice

DeleteHappy Easter to you and Larry and you will sure enjoy a delicious dessert. We are celebrating quietly at home but no ham dinner here with filet mignon, baked potato, sweet potato and asparagus and then watching the classic film, Easter Parade.

ReplyDeleteYour pie looks fantastic! When I was a teenager my aunt taught me how to make one with old fashioned cook on the stove Jello pudding. The dessert used two separated eggs-the yolks went in the pudding and the whites, of course, made the meringue.
