I worked on this one last night.
Wanted to try painting a cabin in the front-and didn't come out so well-so I mixed up a different brown and turned it into a big boulder haha.
I need to look for a you tube on how to paint a simple cabin. I had watched a Bob Ross video and he whips those out so fast haha
This is another winter scene in Missouri and this area does have lots of rocks and boulders around the rural areas

Friday Morning--Good Morning Friends
As this arctic storm travels through our country-and Canada-and if you are able to-please check in on your blog to let us know you are all safe and doing ok I am praying this storm will not be as severe as predicted.

We have been dripping /drizzling rain all day... still above freezing until around midnight... then we might rise above freezing Monday but that keeps looking more and more iffy.. We are as ready as can be... Worse thing for us would be for the power to go out.. so all send out hope that TX keeps the power on.. Stay safe Kathy! Let us know how you are doing too... Hugs! deb

ReplyDeleteDeb-I am loving my painting too-may keep this one. I didn't even walk up the steps and hill to check the mail or take up a garbage bag-toooo cold and still very windy too-I have been watching the map and this storm seems to have started in Texas we are going into the minus actual temps next few days-will be a rough stretch of days-if we lose our electric we will be in very bad shape here as well praying that doesn't happen hugs
Very, very nice artwork. Stay warm and safe. We will have to keep some water running tonight for the pipes.
