Good afternoon,
That was strange I wrote a post-and it ended up on one of my deleted blogs-sigh Not sure how that happened. Of course copy and paste to here did Not work.
Last night I worked on painting-a theme I have painted in the past-sky-mountains-and a meadow in the front. I liked this one better.
I used mostly the watercolor gouache paints, and in the meadow the bluish green grass is ink, and the other is gouache.
(photos will enlarge for better viewing-just click on them)
This week we have been enjoying watching the pelicans and the sea gulls This time of year we get the smaller sea gulls than what we see in the spring and summer.
I did make the chocolate bark this week along with some chex mix. I am making some things for our two workers that help us out. This morning I mixed up some roll out cookie doughs. May try to bake some this evening.
I searched the internet for an acid reflux friendly chex mix recipe for me-it turned out pretty good instead of onion and garlic powder I used herbs mostly herb de provence and used less butter and less worchester sauce. I liked it much better than the original-and did not get sick from it. A good thing-smiles
Happy weekend everyone Christmas is almost here

DeleteI made some roll out cookie doughs the other day. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get around to making the cookies. :) Glad you found some time to paint though. Do you find it relaxing? Have a super weekend Kathy. hugs-Erika

DeleteYou are getting so great at this painting. Loving your latest scenery. Cannot believe Christmas is in 5 days. Janice
ReplyDeletethank you. I know where has December gone? went very fast for some reason
DeleteI love your painting! Please keep on with it. I have found out that garlic bothers me, I don't have the reflux, but maybe close to it. It just makes me not feel so well. Lesson learned! I keep checking on the tracking for your package-looks like the holiday is making it take longer.
ReplyDeletethank you Debra, I did another painting that I like, and do like using the gouache-it dries faster than watercolors. I mailed out lots of christmas postcards and only two have arrived so far-and I mailed on them dec 2nd-so am hoping they didn't get lost somehow. everything seems to be moving really slowly in the mail lately
DeleteThat's one of my fave herb combos. So good on stuff. Glad you found a way to make it work for you.
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork too!
