Hello Friends,
This is just a lovely day today, and finally those strong winds have passed on.
A perfect day to wash those lake view windows, and our main door in front is all glass-so that got washed as well. Blew off a lot of leaves again afterwards. I may just take a walk on our road here this afternoon after our 2 pm meal.
This would have been a perfect day for Larry to go fishing in his boat too since we are in the upper '60's, no wind and full sunshine. I feel bad for him that we aren't set up yet to get him down and into his boat.
With the days of rain here and cooler temps at night the leaves are finally turning. Here in this part of Missouri Ozarks we have mostly oaks and we have the ones that just go brown and stay on the tree til the new leaves push them off in the spring.
Up on top of the hill our neighbor has trees that do turn colors This one is always pretty I see this one on the way to my mailbox
Since we still have not had a frost or a freeze the pottery pots with salvia are still blooming=this one is on top of the steps
So far comments are working well for me now. The main issue is I can't get to the layout here-for writing a blog etc I am glad I thought to save a link to that page-otherwise I would have no way to post a blog or add your blog links to my reader list. I am thankful it is working for the most part.
Happy Friday and Weekend

Such a lovely given name, Kathylorraine! I hope it works for me to post here. Your update is full of this colorful season. We had our second or third hard frost of the Fall early this morning. It’s a difficult reminder that we have moved to Mass! More to come on that, for sure.
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, I am so happy that comments are working here - finally I had to stop approving comments to work but that's ok-if they end up being spam I can delete them.
DeleteIt is unusual for us not to have had a hard frost by now-not even a frost yet either.
Stay warm hugs
